About Me
My career path has evolved from a strong background in the performance arts and elite-level coaching in Classical Russian Ballet and Rhythmic Gymnastics. Throughout my training, I developed discipline, determination, focus, and a strong work ethic—qualities that have been the foundation of my professional life. As a coach and mentor, I bring a creative flair and strong communication skills, with a proven track record of motivating individuals to reach their full potential. My international work and travel experiences have given me a global perspective, and I am excited to bring my skills and knowledge to a business environment.
I was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1969. In 1977, I enrolled as a student at the Vakhtang Chabukiani State Ballet Academy, graduating with a diploma in Ballet Dance in 1988. I performed extensively with the Georgia Ballet Theater, appearing in productions such as Swan Lake, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, and others.
In 1989, I continued my education at the Academy of Sport in Tbilisi, receiving my diploma in 1992 as a Coach of Rhythmic Gymnastics and Teacher of Physical Culture. In 1995, I began working with the National Team of Rhythmic Gymnastics of Georgia, helping prepare gymnasts for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA. One of my students, Eka Abrami, was recognized with the “Most Elegant Gymnast” award.
Following the Olympics, I expanded my career internationally. In 1999, I joined the Tbilisi Musical Theater of Abashidze as a dancer, performing choreography by leading Georgian artists, including the world-renowned Giorgi Aleksidze, known for his unique style of modern dance set to classical music. I also taught ballet classes during this time, sharing and exchanging dance ideas with European colleagues—a tremendously rewarding experience.
Later in 1999, I was invited to Limassol, Cyprus, to work with the School of Rhythmic Gymnastics as a Ballet Teacher and Choreographer. I helped prepare routines for the International Championship held in Japan. In 2000, I moved to Prague, Czech Republic, where I coached and served as a Ballet Consultant for the National Team of Rhythmic Gymnastics in preparation for the European Championships.
In 2001, I was invited to Toronto, Canada, where I have continued to work as a Ballet Teacher and Choreographer. I have worked with the Canadian Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, the Kalev Estienne Club and Dance Company of Aesthetics, the Burlington Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, and the Seneca College Club. I successfully prepared athletes for major competitions, including helping the Burlington team achieve three 4th-place finishes at a competition in Los Angeles featuring over twenty countries.
In addition to coaching group classes, I am passionate about offering private instruction, helping dancers and athletes refine their technique, artistry, and performance quality. My goal is to inspire each student to achieve their highest potential through a combination of discipline, creativity, and individualized support. With extensive international experience and a lifelong dedication to the art of movement, I am proud to share my knowledge with the next generation of dancers and gymnasts.
